Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts receivable, and negotiation skills. As an AR Representative, you will be responsible for managing overdue accounts and ensuring timely payments. We will train as needed to help get this employee accustomed to the systems to help with their success.
Duties:
- Contact customers to secure payment on overdue accounts
- Negotiate payment plans with customers based on their financial situations
- Utilize accounting software to track and update account information
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities
Experience:
- Proven experience in telemarketing or collections
- Familiarity with accounts receivable is a plus
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet goals set forth by management
